FORMER Bangkok Asian Games gold medalist Gandy "Yang-Yang" Valle will grace Thursday's Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at 11 a.m. at the Tower Inn.
Davao City pride Valle, who is secretary-general of the Billiards Managers and Players Association of the Philippines (BMPAP), will talk about the Senate President Manny Villar Cup 9 Ball Open Davao Leg set during the official 23rd Kadayawan week festival.
Joining him are PhilCycling Davao coordinator Salvador Paholio Jr., events organizer Darren Evangelista and Holiday Gym and Spa chief operations officer Ivy Fernandez in the forum co-sponsored by Tower Inn and Genesis 88 Advertising.
Paholio will discuss the upcoming Kadayawan cycling race where the Inday Sara team is eyeing its grand slam victory.
Evangelista, on his part, will tackle the 2008 Languyan sa Kadayawan, the second leg of the Regional Swimming Association (RSA) 11 series sanctioned by the Philippine Amateur Swimming Association, on August 16 and 17.
Fernandez, meanwhile, will brief DSA members on the 5K and 10K fun run set this Sunday. (MLSA)
