3-day travel, tour expo opens at SM City today

TWENTY-four exhibitors have confirmed participation to the 3rd Mindanao Travel and Tour Expo (MTTE) 2008 at the SM City Davao, which formally opens Friday and to be concluded on Sunday.

These are the Joji Ilagan-Bian Career Center Foundation Inc., the Center for Asian Culinary Studies Davao Inc., the DMMA College of Southern Philippines, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) from Western Mindanao, Tesda-Southern Mindanao, and Tesda-Central Mindanao, Pagcor Davao, Foxchit Business Systems Inc., the Mindanao TVET Association, and the Amadeus.

Other exhibitors include Crown Regency Residence, Magsaysay Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts, the Wind and Wave Davao, Department of Tourism (DOT)-Southern Mindanao, the Indonesian Consulate, All Aboard Transport Group Services Inc., Negros Navigation Inc., the One World Travel Express, Provincial Government of Compostela Valley Provincial Tourism, the Department of Tourism (DOT)-Central Luzon, Provincial Government of Sarangani, and the Provincial Government of Davao del Norte.

The MTTE 2008 is touted to be the biggest gathering of tourism players in Mindanao.

With the participation of tour operators and travel agencies, hotels and resorts and schools offering hospitality, MTTE 2008 will surely be a success in showcasing their respective destination assets and point of interests. (JGRS)
