HOLIDAY Gym and Spa (HGS), the city's premier health and wellness center is one with Davao City as it celebrates the Kadayawan Festival this month.
After the successful Holiday 5k/10k Run For Healthy Living last August 10, HGS is set to hold a series of activities to celebrate its fifth anniversary and the city's Kadayawan festival.
On August 12 to 17, HGS will hold an exhibit at the SM City of Davao. The event, dubbed Healthy Living Expo, will showcase the latest trends in staying fit and healthy. Visit the Healthy Living Expo and be one of those who are proudly fit and cool.
As part of its drive for healthy living campaign, HGS will also hold the 1st HGS International fitness seminar and workshop.
The seminar is open to all fitness professionals in Mindanao on August 21 to 24.
Highlighting the Kadayawan Festival, a thanksgiving celebration for a bountiful harvest, HGS will hold the 1st Holiday Basketball League (HBL) Kadayawan 3-on-3 basketball open tournament on August 23, 24 and 30.
The HBL tournament, which kicked off early this year, is part of HGS' campaign "Get into sports, active living is healthy living."
HGS has made a long-term commitment to campaign for healthy living and advocate an active and healthy way of life.
On August 24, the much-awaited Davao Mega Aero marathon is set at The Venue.
The mega event will be graced by no less than fitness guru, Lawrence Biscontini as guest instructor.
The HGS Davao Mega Aero Marathon is another fun activity open to all Dabawenyos. The entire day will witness exercise enthusiasts from different gyms in the city as they outbest each other to survive the rigorous three hours of aerobics exercise.
Also part of the month-long anniversary celebration, HGS will offer free screening, blood typing, consultations with a physician, nutritionist, licensed physical therapists, certified fitness instructors, display and selling of health and wellness products will be offered at the walkway of HGS compound from August 20 to 23.
