Clear skies in Davao City this week
By Carlo P. Mallo

DAVAO City and the rest of Southern Mindanao can expect clearer skies for the rest of the week with minimum possibility of rain showers during the day.

The weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pag-asa) showed that no weather disturbance is affecting the region this week.

However, the weather bureau added that it still expects partly cloudy to cloudy skies to prevail during the late afternoons to early evenings. Isolated rain showers may also be experienced during the evenings accompanied by thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds are expected to blow over the region coming from the South and Southwest directions.

Coastal waters in and around the Davao Gulf are expected to remain calm throughout the week, except during thunderstorms.

Temperatures in the region will range from a high of 31 degrees Celsius to a low of 24 degrees Celsius.

Humidity will remain to be high at 96 percent shortly before dawn and will be at a low of 67 percent shortly after noon.
