Molato was shot dead around 6 p.m. on August 14.

According to initial investigations by PO2 Enrique Ayao, the victim was shot dead thrice by unidentified suspects outside his home.

Irene, the victim's daughter, said all they heard were three gunshots and found their father slumped to the ground.

The gunman fled towards the direction of Sirawan Beach, she said.

Molato succumbed to gunshot wounds at the back portion of his head; the bullet exiting his left eye and another on the nape, causing his death.

Two empty shells of a caliber .45 gun were found by authorities at the crime scene.

The victim's family is seeking justice over the death of Molato. (RCO)
