DCWD, Hedcor tug-of-war for Tamugan isn't over
Sul Orchids got the first prize for the traditional category of Sunday's Floral Float Parade, while Barangay Sasa copped the top prize in the alternative category. The floral float parade was the biggest crowd drawer in the weeklong Kadayawan Festival that ended Sunday. (Sun.Star Davao/Seth delos Reyes)
THE tug-of-war between the Davao City Water District (DCWD) and the power company of Hedcor Tamugan Inc. for the water of Tamugan river is far from over as the two companies continue to trade counter-proposals.

Sources from the water utility firm said they have already submitted a counter proposal to the "win-win" solution offered by Hedcor last August 21.
