Anino tops Kadayawan dart event

NOEL Anino bagged the open singles title at the just-concluded 2008 Mayor Rody and Vice Mayor Inday Sara Duterte 23rd Kadayawan Dart Tournament at the Red Palm Diner in Mantex Arcade.

Anino bagged the top purse of P3,000 while JayJay Bacutot bagged the runner-up prize of P1,600.

Wendel Fuentivilla and Joel Mambaling, who were in joint third and fourth place, each got P1,000.

Joint fifth to eighth placers Meloy Pechera, Ronald Casas, Lino Gumban and Jojo Barellano, meanwhile, went home with P350 apiece.

In the three-man team event, Troy Timtim, Edgar Amparado and Ian Geronimo emerged champion to pocket P6,000 while the trio of Allan Manligas, Ogie Castelo and Oning Bacalso placed second with P3,000 and Joy Arcega, Kiking Gumanid. Richard Macaraeg was third with P1,800.

The team of Toto Agreda, Dondon Lagria and Marcel Pollido came fourth with P1,200 in the dartfest presented by Mayor Duterte and Vice Mayor Duterte as part of the Kadayawan sa Dabaw Sports Festival.

The classified doubles pair of Meloy Pechera and Richard Macaraeg brought home the P4,000 prize while Dione Mier-Esboy Serafin received P2,000.

The tandems of Victor Lubiano and Benje Te along with JayJay Bacutot and Bonjet Rosales shared the third and fourth spots with P1,000 each. (MLSA)
