THE Agro-Industrial Foundation College (AIFC) Sailors sank the Jose Maria College (JMC) Kings, 98-77, Sunday to grab the No. 1 position of bracket B in the resumption of the Champions League at the Almendras Gym.
Bracket B No. 1 Sailors will clash against the Bracket A No. 2 University of Mindanao (UM) Wildcats while Bracket A No. 1 Emar Learning Center will collide with the JMC Kings in the crossover semi-finals.
But tournament director Rico Jhone Biliran on Thursday said the semis round schedule will have yet to be finalized depending on the availability of the gym.
Eugene Torres sparked the Sailors as he drilled 22 points while Clemente Ruiz and Genreyn Curso added 16 and 13, respectively.
The event is sanctioned by Basketball Association of the Philippines-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (BAP-SBP) regional director Regino "Boy" Cua and supported by the city government of Davao.
