Barangays 21-C, 37-D beat DBL opponents

THE Barangay 21-C beat Barangay 39-D, 90-85, in the quarterfinals of the 4th Duterte Basketball League (DBL) Poblacion B Inter-Barangay Tournament at the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) Gym on Saturday.

The Barangay 21-C barged into the semi-finals along with 37-D, which trounced 26-C, 83-71, in another game of the meet sanctioned by the Basketball Association of the Philippines-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (BAP-SBP).

Barangay 30-C was still playing against Barangay 36-D as of this writing Saturday.

The barangay champion will win a cash prize and a slot in the inter-district finals that offers P40,000 to the titlist.

The league is sponsored by Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte and Vice Mayor Inday Sara Duterte.

It is organized in coordination with the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office. (MLSA)
