Grenade explodes in Cotabato

A GRENADE exploded in Cotabato City Tuesday afternoon but no one was hurt.

A military report showed that two unidentified men onboard a motorcycle were seen roaming within the vicinity of Balabaran compound in Barangay Tamontaka around 2:50 in the afternoon just before a loud explosion was heard.

Authorities recover a safety lever of a fragmentation grenade. No motive was established for the explosion. Police are still investigating the incident to determine if it was a terrorist or just plain criminal act. (BOT)
