Ramfe Rodriguez made up for the Bulldogs' free throw errors in the final minute by drilling his own crucial basket to give his team its first win.

The Bulldogs lost to the Agro Industrial Foundation College of the Philippines (AIFCP) Sailors in college division 1 of the meet sanctioned by Basketball Association of the Philippines-Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (BAP-SBP) regional director Regino "Boy" Cua.

Rodriguez led the Bulldogs with a total of 26 points, five rebounds and three steals.

His teammates Kenny Isik and Robert Abao also lived up to their billing. Isik canned 20 points including two three-pointers that steered RMC's rally in the second quarter while Abao made 13 points on top of his 13 boards.

Samuel Salvador, meanwhile, sank 13 points to lead the Kings' losing cause.

In another match, the Holy Child School of Davao (HCSD) Reds edged Philippine Women's College (PWC), 67-66, to remain unbeaten after two outings in junior division 1.

Reds' Rex Sinilong was named best player of the game with 18 points, eight rebounds, five steals and three assists. (MLSA)
