CMO clobbers RTC-MTC
THE City Mayor's Office cagers improved their chances of barging in to the semifinal round in the 2008 Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Vice Mayor Inday Sara Basketball Tournament at the Hall of Justice covered court in Ecoland.
Christopher "Bong" Go came back strong again by firing 43 points to lead the squad to another victory against the Regional and Municipal Trial Courts squad, 113-109.

RTC/MTC tried to stage a comeback in the third quarter after trailing, 48-66, at the end of the first half but CMO kept its composure to clinch another win in the tournament organized in preparation for the IBP Mindanao Palaro next month.

CMO 113 - Go 43, Alquizar 27, Gadiano 22, Acojedo 9, Ordonez 6, Rivera 4, Lacorda 2.
RTC/MTC 109 - Hoybia 32, Escorido 29, Maurillo 16, Cunanan 15, Saligumba 7, Devero 6, Felizarta 4.
