THE Avon's I Walk With 30,000 for a Healthier Tomorrow kicks off simultaneously in 16 locations in the country, including Davao City, Sunday.

The event, which is now on its seventh year, serves as the highlight of Avon's 30th anniversary.

Organizers said the company wants to continue its advocacy on awareness of breast cancer since the Philippine Cancer Registry statistics shows that it is the number one cause of mortality among Filipino women.

The non-competitive Avon walk in Davao will start at the Avon Bldg. along Claro M. Recto St. at 7 a.m. It will proceed to Roxas Avenue, Ponciano Reyes St. turning to Jollibee Rizal and back to origin.

The walk, dubbed "Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer" (KGBC), aims to raise funds for the breast cancer patients at the Philippine General Hospital Breast Care Center. (MLSA)
