Wednesday, October 15, 2008 2 Davao lady booters to play in AFC meet
ATENEO de Davao University (AdDU) player Marie Angeline Cadayona and Philippine Women's College (PWC) Davao booter Marice Magdolot will form part of the Philippine National Women's U16 Football Team that will compete in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Women's U16 Championship 2009 Qualifiers set on November 8 to 18 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) sent excuse letters dated October 13, 2008 to the school principals of both lady booters. The letters asked that Cadayona and Magdolot be excused from academic duties and responsibilities for the entire duration of the Philippine team's training camp.
