Brilliant Pawnshop leads Oktoberfest open bowling
THE Brilliant Pawnshop hit a total of 4,630 pinfalls to keep its lead after eight games as the 4th Annual Oktoberfest Open Bowling Tournament 2008 resumed at the Fairlanes Bowling Center Thursday night.
The Answer Me bowlers rolled 4,532 pins to grab the second spot while Diagold came in close third with 4,526 pinfalls.

Team Topshot garnered 4,516 pinfalls for fourth followed by D' Adventurers (4,511) in fifth, Edjo (4,474) sixth, Gian's Breakfast Club (4,448) seventh, Jarano (4,400) eighth, D' Encounters (4,338) ninth, and Manflo (4,288) 10th.
Two more games will be played on Tuesday to determine the top four teams that will battle in the step-the-ladder championship round.
The masters game and step-the-ladder championship are set on Wednesday, October 22.
A total of P25,000 cash prize is at stake in the bowfest presented by the Fairlanes Bowling Center management in coordination with the Sunday Bowlers Club.
The champion team will receive P10,000 while the next three placers will get P7,000, P5,000 and P3,000.
Special awards also await the top elimination qualifiers, highest pinning, highest individual, and team singles and doubles. (MLSA)
