Emilio wins IBP chess match

LAWYER Elnathan Emilio of General Santos City earned seven points to clinch the IBP Chess Championship match Saturday.

Davao City's Dionesio Guevarra tallied six points to grab the runner-up honors while Bernardo Cataluña garnered 4.5 points for the third place.

Melzar Galicia, also of Davao City, came in fourth place with four points followed by General Santos bet Howard Faldas.

The two-day chess fest was organized as part of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines - Mindanao Palaro 2008. (MLSA)
