Bucana wins title
BARANGAY Bucana beat Bago Aplaya, 84-80, to clinch the 4th Duterte Basketball League (DBL) Talomo District Inter-Barangay title at the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) covered court Sunday.
Barangay Talomo Proper, meanwhile, grabbed the third place after trouncing Barangay Catalunan Grande, 88-77. The latter settled for fourth.

Bucana was three-point behind at the end of the first quarter but it bounced back by limiting Talomo to just two points for the breakaway, 38-21, at halftime. Bucana never looked back to secure the win.
Bucana, which is set to receive P14,000, will also get the chance to play for the P40,000 top purse at stake in the Inter-District Finals of the cagefest presented by Davao City Mayor Rodrigo R. Duterte and Vice-Mayor Inday Sara Duterte.
The tournament is sanctioned by BAP-SBP regional director Regino "Boy" Cua and organized in coordination with the Sports Development Division of the City Mayor's Office (SDD-CMO).
