Ferrazzini family denies texted rumor of death

THE Ferrazzini family of Davao has stepped forward anew, this time to announce that there is no truth to text messages being passed around that Architect Anselmo "Elmo" S. Ferrazzini is dead.

Contrary to the rumor being spread by text message, a statement from the Ferrazzini family said Elmo is in fact recovering from cancer and with a very good chance of being healed.

Anselmo is now at Sta. Monica in California where he visits an oncology center for a 10-minute infusion every three weeks.

"In fact, just last night the doctor proclaims: 'In Elmo's case we are aiming for a cure," the statement dated November 4 and faxed to Sun.Star Davao said.

"This is tantamount to saying that they are not looking into prolonging his life, not even at a reminission. This means that they are actually expecting a cure," the statement said.

Text messages about Elmo's death have been going around in the past few days.
