Francisco Iligan II and Jayric Iligan knocked in goals in the 35th and 82nd minutes to seal the win for league-leader Seagull.

The Seagull booters will try to stretch their five-game winning streak when they clash against cellar dweller Club 35 at the start of the second round at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Second-placer Hooligans FC, meanwhile, will attempt to improve its two-win, one-draw and one-loss record as it collides with fourth-ranked Columbia FC at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

The 3-1-1 Medvil FC, which occupied the third spot of the team standings after its rousing 10-0 win over Club 35, will battle number 5 Brokenshire Leopards on Sunday's 2:30 p.m. curtain raiser. (MLSA)
