THE Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants will hold its 63rd Annual National Convention in Davao City next week.
In a statement, Thelma Ciudadano, Picpa-Davao Chapter president, said the theme for this year is "Vision in ONE (Optimum, New Order, and Empowerment)."
The annual convention is slated on November 27 to 30, 2008.
The agenda for the opening plenary session and the technical sessions will highlight the many challenges that Picpa and its members are facing at present and will be facing in the future.
Topnotch speakers and resource persons were also invited for the various technical sessions that will be geared towards deriving optimum enhancement for the individual and collective professional development of CPAs from all sectors, to wit: Education, Government, Commerce and Industry, and Private Practice.
Pacencio Rosalem Jr., chair for this year's Picpa annual convention, also encouraged participants to register early in order to avail of the discounted registration fee of P4,500.
