It can be recalled that the Davraa team that won a bronze medal in the 2008 Palarong Pambansa in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan was composed of Davao City booters.

Palaro bronze medal coach Ramonito Carreon will again mentor the DCAA team bannered by Frances Jay Abrasaldo, Jonan Acedo, Jestoni Felipe, Dominador Tato, Boralle Pino, Ronz Andre Militar, Nestor Bantilan, Danilo Lascuña, Alfredo Labrador, Renz Rhay Napuran, Jeremiah Avring and Harold Malinalag.

Erico Nograles National High School's Rio Parra and Ateneo de Davao University's Darius Gabriel Diamante and Emmanuel Brisscon will beef up the team that is among those cited by DCAA athletic manager Jimmy Cerrojales to have great chances of winning a Palaro medal.

In the elementary division, Ateneo's Jonathan Lim, Joshua Valdez, Salas Juvie Romero, Junevar Jabille, Darius Diamante, Kenneth Buenacosa, Manuel Marius Aquino, Lawrence Bautista, Hans Arieta, Miggy Sarmiento, Zandro Cabo, Anthony Alladia and Patrick Pineda, Kapitan Tomas Monteverde Sr. Central Elementary School's Warren Ravanes and Zonta Elementary School's Rolly Landres will play for DCAA.
