NSAs asked to submit '09 budget proposals

LOCAL national sports associations (NSAs) will have until January 20 to submit their project/budget proposals for inclusions in the 2009 Araw ng Dabaw sports festival sponsored by the City Government of Davao.

Arroyo Watch: Sun.Star blog on President Arroyo

This was agreed during the regular meeting of the Davao City Sports Council Inc. meeting at the Davao Dencia's Restaurant Tuesday night.

DCSCI president Davao City councilor Peter Laviña said the NSAs have to submit the proposals early so the city sports office gets ample time to review them.

Laviña encouraged those who haven't been included in the Pahalipay ni Mayor Rody Duterte and Vice Mayor Sara Duterte sa Pasko sportsfest to also submit early.

The DCSCI is set to hold its election for a new set of officers on April 9 before the Vic Sai Sports Journalism Awards Night. (MLSA)
