Zamboanguita chess tourney opens

ALL is set for the Unang Inter-barangay Nga Matehanay sa Zamboanguita Fiesta which unfolds at 8:30 a.m. on April 12 at the Zamboanguita Plaza, Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental.
The tournaments were organized by Zamboanguita chess club president Andrew Alanano, Zamboanguita fiesta executive director Victoriano Marilla and Flor Zamora, tournament director.
The tournament will use the 5 Round Swiss System elimination format during the elimination round. The top 6 finishers during the eliminations will advance in the finals and will play against each other in a single round-robin match-up during the championship rounds.
