NBI warns of sequel to porno video
By Victor L. Camion

THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) here alerted the public against the possible circulation of a sequel to the pornographic Dumaguete Scandal videos.

NBI agent Miguel Dungog said the agency is looking into reports that a sequel to the scandalous video may be circulated soon.

The NBI had recently conducted a buy-bust operation that netted them eight copies of the Dumaguete Scandal VCD.

Dungog said that more confiscations and arrests would follow.

The discs were seized from Samuel Saturion Tuesday afternoon.

Saturion is now detained at the city jail in Barangay Bajumpandan.

The seized discs were better than the initial copies of the videos as they were well edited, Dungog said.

Dungog said the seized copies reportedly originated in Bacolod City and showed the complete separate sex sequences of the four prominent local women and three men.

Santurion has been charged with violating Presidential Decree Number 969 on the intensified campaign against the selling of pornographic materials.

If found guilty, the suspect could face a jail term of six to 12 years depending on the evidences and circumstances of the crime, Dungog said.

Dungog said the bureau is optimistic that it could seize the sequel of the controversial "Dumaguete Scandal" VCD.

He believed that more sex VCDs also involving local women have been produced aside from the sequel.

On the Saturion case, Dungog said the NBI pinned down the suspect in front of Holy Cross High School after agents negotiated the sale of a copy of the pornographic item through texting on their cell phones.

The investigator said they traced the mobile phone number of the alleged dealer through an informant although he is not sure if the person they were texting was indeed Saturion.

Dungog said he became suspicious about the existence of a sequel to the sex scandal VCD after the text mate asked if he was interested only in Part I.

"Kinsa ni? Part I lang?" the NBI agent quoted the text message from the alleged dealer.

He said a copy of the disc sells for P100 to P200.

Dungog said an NBI asset handed a P1, 000 bill to Saturion for a copy of the VCD before arresting him on the spot.
