Bomb threat hits NOHS
By Maricar Aranas

THE fourth bomb threat in the last two months has again hit the city--this time at the Negros Oriental High School (NOHS).

Graduating sixth graders were taking their high school readiness test at NOHS when police received information that a bomb was planted inside the school.

Policemen headed by Police Chief Constantino Barot Jr. inspected the school and found nothing.

Supt. Barot said although the threat was meant only to scare, police will continue to be vigilant.

Earlier the police received reports of bombs planted at the buildings of the Philippine National Bank, the Government Security Insurance System, and Jollibee.

All threats turned out to be hoaxes.
