By Rachel M. Nessia

THE city police would deploy men in all cemeteries here to ensure the peaceful and orderly observance of All Saints Day and All Souls Day on November 1 and November 2.

SPO3 Felomino Laure of the city PNP said policemen would man the Dangpanan Centers that have been erected inside cemeteries to address the concerns of the public.

Laure said mobile patrol cars would be roving along commercial centers, bus terminals, and the airport and seaport.

"We cannot deploy personnel in all areas in the city due to lack of manpower, but we would try our best," he assured.

Laure cautioned the public to avoid bringing large cash and valuables including cellphones to the cemetery.

He urged the public to report to the Dangpanan Center any person bringing dangerous weapons to the cemetery.
