dyRM holds 3rd Awit Bata Grand Finals showdown By Syril G. Repe
DUMAGUETE City's first commercial radio station, dyRM-AM, will hold its 3rd Awit Bata grand finals on December 11, at 7 p.m. at Quezon Park.
Sherlyn Abella, dyRM station manager, said 12 candidates aged 6-12 coming from different elementary schools in Dumaguete City and two from the island province of Siquijor will vie for the championship crown.
They include Neal Jude Rendoque of Amado Dagudag Memorial School elementary School, Greena Cesa Pesalbon and PJ Shan Magpayo of COSCA, Danica Sabado of City Central Elementary School, Jezza Magbanua of West City Elementary School, Angelique Floric Macambac of Foundation University Elementary School, Ninotchka Distrito of South City Elementary School, Rhonville Opoc and Jesyl Tagbo of Siquijor, Jan Joel Sulit of ABC Learning Center, Steffany Tampioc of Valencia Central School, and Kristel Calderon of Junob Elementary School.
The first prize winner will receive P3,000 and a trophy, the second prize P2,000 plus trophy, and the third prize, P1,000 and a trophy.
Last year's champion Kyle Juliano of West City Elementary School, who won the recent NAMCYA solo regional competition, will be guest of the program.
