Dumaguete demolish rivals

THE Dumaguete powerhouse continued to lord it over its rivals browbeating Sibulan, 84-75, and demolishing Pamplona, 102-82, in their March 11 and March 12 encounters at the Sibulan gymnasium and Tanjay City sports center respectively in the ongoing 2006 Governor's Cup Inter Cities/Municipalities basketball tournament for the 2nd congressional district.
Dumaguete's Kent Bajana scored 28 points to ensure his team's victory against Sibulan while teammate Joseph Erolon placed in 18 points to seal the win.
Sibulan's Mitchel Jucom managed 16 points and Bunny Aguilar, 14 points, to try to close the widening gap, but to no avail with Dumaguete leading the game in the first half and on to the second half.
In Tanjay City, Dumaguete easily ripped Pamplona to shreds, 102-82, in the first game of the tournament at Tanjay City Sports Center.
