Oriental Negrenses await PBA showdown

A WARM welcome awaits the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) when it brings its act to the province of Negros Oreintal on April 8 at 4:30 in the afternoon at the Lamberto Macias Sports and Cultural Center at Capitol Area.

Thousands of basketball enthusiasts in the province eagerly await the arrival of Red Bull and Talk "N" Text players who will clash in the out-of-town game, which is part of the Grand Matador Brandy-PBA Philippine Cup.

Negros Oriental Sports and Cultural Facilities Management Board Co-Chair Glynda Descuatan said the PBA game is one of the activities this summer that aims to promote tourism via sports.

Red Bull's key player Enrico Villanueva, Fiesta Conference best player, and number 14th overall pick Larry Fonancier will lead the team of Coach Yeng Guiao.

While Coach Derrick Pumarin of Talk "N" Text will depend on mean tower Asi Taulava, with the support of Jimmy Alapag and Willie Miller.

Tickets are available at Cang's store and Lamberto Macias Sports Center at P600, P500, P220, P150, and P100.
