1st woman PMAer from Sibulan recognized
By Victor L. Camion

GOVERNOR George Arnaiz is set to award a plaque of recognition to the first woman from Negros Oriental who successfully finished her military course from the Philippine Military Academy (PMA).

Congratulations to the graduates of 2006! Post your graduation experiences and greetings here.

Second Lieutenant Karen Leleth Dipaling, from Barangay Poblacion in Sibulan town, graduated from her military course last March.

"This is an honor to the province," said provincial Board Member Melimore Saycon in a resolution unanimously approved by the Provincial Board during its regular session recently.

Saycon said the executive and legislative department should congratulate Dipaling for her achievements at the PMA.

"Ang babayeng sama ni Karen mao untay magsibleng sumbanan sa mga kababayen-an nga imbes mawad-an sa paglaom labi na niining panahon sa kagubot ug kalisdanan nga nasinatian sa nasod, manglimbasog aron pagkab-ot sa atong tinusbawan," said Saycon.
