By Syril G. Repe

AFTER a brief interlude, holduppers struck again divesting a teacher of Candau-ay Elementary School of P181,000 past noon on Thursday last week along San Juan Street, in front of ACE Motorcycle.

The victim was identified as Haide Marcelino, 31, married, of Sitio Canday-ong, Barangay Calindagan.

Marcelino said she and her husband were leaving Equitable Bank after withdrawing money with her on the backseat of their motorcycle.

Along San Juan Street, in front of ACE, a motorcycle with three unidentified riders blocked their way and one of the backriders pointed a gun and declared a hold-up.

Out of fright, the teacher handed over her bag after which the holduppers roared away.

The bag contained P181,500 cash, a passport, an ATM card, an E-card, a PRC license, and other papers.
