THE Bais Family Farm Association Inc. established its first organic forest coffee in the province to complement the vision of the Negros Island Sustainable Agricultural Rural Development and the Provincial Government to promote Negros Island as a premier organic food island in the country and elsewhere.
Jerome Villegas, the son of Board Member Mariant Villegas, and the business owner, said he and his wife Miriam, launched their product last year during the Buglasan Festival to bring fresh product in community.
Villegas said that their customers increased their purchases of organic product, and will also help the scholars to continue their vocational training on farming as business.
He added that the Bais City Farm School is located in Barangay Cantugot, Bais City, which belong to a network of more than 1,000 family farm school all over the world.
"My product is perfect for holidays, business gifts, or special occasions, these collection include the words finest coffees, like Pure Robusta, Buglas Blend Robusta-Arabica, and Special Blend Arabica-Robusta," Villegas said.
