Bais City holds Fiesta Open Basketball Championship

THE City Government of Bais City, through the city sports office, will holds its Fiesta Open Basketball Championship Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Bais City gymnasium.

City sports officer Anton de Guia said the tournament is one of the highlights of the incoming fiesta celebration.

He said six teams join the tournament. These are: Amlan, Sibulan, Tanjay, ACSAT, Negros Oriental State University, Foundation University, and Bais City basketball team.

The Municipality of Dauin, will also hold a Fiesta Open Basketball Tournament, wherein the opening salvo will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dauin covered court.

There are eight participating teams in the said event: Sta. Catalina, Bayawan, Tribu Looc, Silliman University, Negros Oriental State University, Foundation University, ACSAT, and Dauin team.

Bais City and Dauin will both hold its fiesta Celebration this coming September 9 and 10.
