PAUL Dairo led his team by scoring 17 points as the Barangay Motong trounced Barangay Cantil-e, 113-59, in their match in the ongoing Kagawad Boni Catarata Memorial Basketball Tournament, which was played Sunday afternoon at the Dumaguete City Multi-purpose Gym in Barangay Calindagan.
Barangay Motong was doing their best record in the elimination round but placed second in team standing, Bracket B, with 4-1 win loss card while Barangay Pulantubig secured first place with 4-0 record.
The Barangay top in bracket A with 3-0 win loss card while barangays Batinguel and Bantayan tied with 4-1 win loss record in bracket C.
On the other hand, Barangay Talay shine with 5-0 record and top in bracket D.
Meanwhile, Barangay Bajumpandan secured another victory after the demolished their rival Barangay Tabuc-tubig , 96-76.
Bajumpandan continues their straight victory with 3-1 win loss card, while the losing team Tabuc-tubig still to upgraded their team with 0-4 card in bracket D.
