Thieves victimize tourist on Buglasan

A TOURIST national lost his clutch bag containing important valuables things while he and his fiancé were inside the Sidlakang Negros Village in Barangay Piapi 10 p.m. Friday.

The victim was Yasutaka Tamaki, 64, single, a Japanese national who is temporary residing at overflow, Colon Extension, Dumaguete City.

Tamaki told police that he and his Filipina fiancée were inside the Sidlakang Negros Village checking Buglasan exhibit booths when they later decided to seat at one of the table. Minutes later, a power failure happened.

The tourist added when the light returned back, he noticed that his clutch bag, which he placed on the top of the table is already missing.

The clutch bag contained digital camera, two gold wedding ring valued P16,920, Nokia cellphone, wrist watch, cash P17,700 and other necessary items.
