Tinago holds inter-purok basketball tournament By Syril G. Repe
BARANGAY Tinago in Dumaguete City will hold its annual inter purok basketball tournament that will kick off Thursday at the Tinago auditorium.
Seventeen teams are vying for the crown and nine teams are in Bracket A including BTO, Fishers, Sagrada Crusaders, Sunny Electrical Supply, Muggers, Born 2B Alive, Paratzar, The Clan and Spartans team.

Bracket B is led by HOB, Mutya Gracias, Lucky FS, Lucky Terminal, Born Free, Voxdei, Pahitjebs, and Young Ones.
There will be a street parade around the city during the opening salvo.
Barangay captain Raul Aguilar and City Sports Coordinator Jose Guirit will toss the ball to start the game.
The tournament is a yearly sport tournament that serves as as one of the highlights of Tinago's fiesta celebration.
