Negros Club 64 holds monthly chessfest
THE Negros Club 64 Inc. will hold its monthly chessfest for Open Blitz Showdown at the Negros Club 64 playing hall at the Capitol area on May 4.
Almer Banaria, NC 64 club secretary, said lawyers Cyrus Reconalla and Alfredo Orquillas Jr. once gain will sponsor the activity.

Banaria said each player is given 10 minutes to complete the game or a total of 20 minutes for a whole game.
The first showdown started last April wherein National Master Ryan Trajera was declared as champion.
The game started at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The top finishers in the monthly event will advance to the year-end grandfinals in December.
