TELETECH Holdings Inc. announced that normal operations resumed at its location in Barangay Calindagan in Dumaguete City, after a two-day temporary suspension of its operations.
Last June 29, Teletech suspended operations and temporarily evacuated employees from its site as a result of heavy rain and excess water that leaked through the roof of the facility during the onslaught of Typhoon Frank (international codename: Fengshen).
Teletech Operations in-charge Alex Flores said that during the suspension, they utilized its seamless and diverse global delivery network to temporarily route the work conducted in the Dumaguete site to other Teletech locations in the Philippines and around the world.
After the announcement of the resumption, he said employees had started returning to the site and is expected to return to full staff this weekend.
"I would like to thank all of our employees in Dumaguete and other sites around the world who have worked around the clock to ensure the facility could resume safe operations so quickly," said Maulik Parekh, general manager of Teletech Asia.
Teletech is one of the largest and most geographically diverse global providers of business process outsourcing solutions.
Flores said their company have a 26-year history of designing, implementing, and managing critical business processes for Global 1000 companies to help them improve their customers' experience, expand their strategic capabilities, and increase their operating efficiencies.
"By delivering a high-quality customer experience through the effective integration of customer-facing front-office processes with internal back-office processes, we enable our clients to better serve, grow, and retain their customer base" said Abbey Valenciano, Teletech internal affairs in-charge.
Valenciano said the company uses Six Sigma-based quality methods continually to design, implement, and enhance the business processes it delivers to its clients.
