Police roundup
'Robbers' break into house, took cash
Unidentified robbers again stole assorted jewelry and P20,000 in cash after they ransacked another house in Purok San Vicente, Barangay Labangal.
A certain Jose Democrito told Makar police the robbers entered the house by destroying their jalousies while they were asleep.
Democrito said the robber's took two mobile phones, two wristwatches and a necklace during the said robbery.
Cops nab suspected burglar
Police arrested a 22-year-old man whom they said could be involved in some burglary incidents happening in Purok San Roque, Barangay Labangal.
Reports said Manny Piang, a resident of Purok Balunto, Barangay Labangal, was arrested while suspiciously roaming around the place.
But Piang strongly denied allegations he had any involvement in burglary incident in the area claiming that he only passed-by when he was arrested.
Hunt on for stab suspect
A suspect in the stabbing of a construction worker last Tuesday morning is reportedly now the object of a manhunt operation by the authorities.
Police said Marlou Borleo, known earlier only as alias Tony, is now the object of a manhunt for stabbing 23-year-old Jonelio Estabillo.
Estabillo was found dead inside his bunker at their construction site in Dadiangas South Elementary School after an argument with Borleo. |
