Another driver gunned down

A TRICYCLE driver was shot dead by a still unidentified gunman who also took the motorcycle of the victim Tuesday dawn.

Reports said Elgar Medrano died on the spot from a lone gunshot wound on his head.

Reports said Medrano picked up a still unidentified man along Makar Wharf early dawn Tuesday before he was shot dead in Purok Acharon, Labangal.

It was not immediately established if the said passenger was the same gunman who shot dead Medrano with a .45 caliber pistol.

Elmer Medrano, brother of the victim, claimed several witnesses said the suspect is a regular passenger of his brother.

Police investigators however are still facing a blank wall on the identity of the suspect.

Medrano is the fifth victim killed in the city in just tens days.
