Police roundup
Threatening text message
CRISPIN Villafuerte, Sped (Special Education) teacher for children with impaired hearing, reported to the Pendatun police he reportedly received a text message threatening to kill him.
The text message allegedly reads: "WE WL KL U EXPOSING GRAFT AND CORRUPTION INGAT KA DS WK."
Villafuerte said the came from mobile phone unit 09182509353.
Police are still investigating the report.
Bag snatched
A 21-year-old beautician residing in Camachili, Champaca Street complained to police that his bag containing valuables was snatched by two unidentified persons Sunday evening.
Lloyd Cabasalan told police that while he is eating dinner at a local restaurant, two males approached him and suddenly grabbed his bag.
He said his bag contained his Nokia 3315 cellular phone, cash money worth P1,500, perfumes and vitamins.
House ransacked
Sammy Valiente, a 42-year old resident of Darimco Silway, reported to police that a certain "To Bentain" allegedly ransacked his house Saturday evening.
Police are now looking for Bentain, a resident of New Society, Apopong.
Cellphone snatched
A 36-year-old man appeared at the police station Monday to complain that his mobile phone unit was reportedly snatched by a certain Toto Brillantes.
Gerardo Macale, a resident of Barangay Heights, said while he was waiting for a ride along P. Acharon Blvd., a person suddenly emerged from behind him and grabbed his cellular phone unit.
Police advised Macale to file a formal complaint against Brillantes.
