2 motorists killed in road mishap

TWO people were killed when the motorcycle they were riding plunged into a ditch along the Lagao-Bula road Sunday evening.

Police identified the victims as Bryan Tajundong and Juliver Quiam.

Police Officer 2 Ralph Brown, who led the responding Bula policemen, said residents informed them that the accident happened at around 11:45 Sunday evening.

The police officer said the driver was apparently running at high speed when they fell into the ditch judging by the injuries sustained by the victims.

Tajundong reportedly smashed his face into a culvert while Quiam's back was badly broken.

Police are still investigating the circumstances behind the accident as of press time.(EGE)
