ExcelAsia prepares Mindanao call center agents

THE availability of qualified call center agents based in Mindanao would be the primary consideration in making the mainland Mindanao as another major part of Philippines' Information Communication and Technology (ICT) corridor.

In particular, transforming General Santos City as an ICT hub needs more preparation as to human capital.

This is why the telecommunication firms operating in the city and the real estate owners and developers are one in declaring that General Santos City is already ICT infrastructure ready.

As a manifestation of a concrete support to the ICT industry, the local government of General Santos City is preparing for the establishment of study now pay later program to be available to hone the potential ICT human capital of the city.

Local businessmen are in the process of developing a PEZA approved ICT-dedicated ecozone in General Santos City.
