Cefalyn now a Goodyear dealer
TIRES and car accessories dealer Cefalyn was recently made exclusive distributor of Goodyear Philippines.
Goodyear Philippines just celebrated its 50th anniversary with an elaborate and detailed interactive display of its milestone in the Philippines at the NBC Tent at the Fort in Taguig.
Pierre E. Cohade, Goodyear president for Asia Pacific Region, and David J. Morin, president and managing director of Goodyear Philippines, led the list of top executives who welcomed the media as well as their business partners in the automotive industry.
Ronaldo Castro, marketing director of Goodyear Philippines, said they are glad to have Cefalyn as its exclusive partner in General Santos City.
Castro said Goodyear Philippines has been consistently leading the tire manufacturing and marketing industry in the country.
"We are noted for manufacturing durable and quality tires," Castro said during the recent inauguration of Cefalyn.
Cefalyn is owned and managed by lawyer Pete Canumay and has several branches in Central Mindanao.
"No other tire company has been more influential in molding every element of the Philippine motoring landscape than Goodyear Philippines," said Morin.
"From the time it became the first tire manufacturer in the Philippines when it inaugurate its Las Piñas plant in 1956, the Goodyear brand has been synonymous with dependability, trustworthiness and great value. All these culminate in the fact that according to a study conducted last year, Goodyear owners are the most loyal to their tire brand," Morin added.
Morin also urged the company and its partners to use the anniversary as an excellent opportunity to look back and recognize the achievements of their predecessors during the past 50 years.
He encouraged Goodyear employees to strive harder and aim even higher and be "one revolution ahead of everyone else".
Canumay meanwhile said he was honored for having been chosen as one of the many exclusive partners of Goodyear in the country.
