ANOTHER group of legislative staff members recently completed the Basic Literacy Computer Training conducted by Sheep-CLP, a virtual division under the City Mayor's Office (CMO) tasked to enhance, among others, the computer capabilities of employees in the local bureaucracy.
Sheep-CLP stands for Social Transformation, Human Empowerment, Economic Diversification, Environment Security, Regeneration, Participatory Governance, and Transparency-Computer Literacy Program.
The five-day computer training was conducted in partnership with the Human Resource and Management Development Office (HRMDO) under Sarah T. Sanchez, the office's department head.
The additional eight members of the legislative staff, appointed to extend technical and administrative assistance to individual members of the City Council, who finished the said basic computer literacy training are: Lynfe R. Demadante, Administrative Aide IV under City Councilor Nepthale Natividad; Rachelita M. Decatoria, Local Legislative Staff Assistant III under City councilor Ramon R. Melliza; Mary Lyn A. Calunsag, Administrative Aide VI under City Councilor Jane R. Calunsag; Mary Bernadette G. Pascua, Admnistrative VI under City Councilor Jose Mariano Constantino G. Gonzalez; Nerissa F. Dayupay, Local Legislative Staff Assistant III under City Councilor Vivencio E. Dinopol; Rachelle M. Lagare, Local Legislative Staff Assistant and Riariza A. Ganados, administrative VI, under City Councilor S. Lagare III; and Maria Romana R. Acharon, Local Legislative Staff Assistant under City Councilor Orlando R. Acharon.
Amante C. Barnachea, Human Resource Management assistant under HRMDO, said Darlon Dominic B. Solana and Marianne Basilio-Anas, all staff members of Sheep-CLP, acted as trainers/facilitators for the second batch of the five-day computer training.
Amelia P. Barroga, Sheep-CLP's supervisor, said the training was conducted in pursuit of the program of the City Council, under Vice Mayor Florentina L. Congson, which is aimed at improving and enhancing the delivery of legislative services and the oversight functions of the local legislature.
