A BUSINESS center for small and medium enterprises is now on operation in General Santos City to provide assistance to those seeking to invest in the locality.
Maria Theresa S. Pacheco, head of the City Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council, Inc., said the recently launched business center was conceptualized in collaboration with the local Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the local government unit (LGU).
The center offers services such as policy advocacy, product development, market research and promotion, business information and financing to SMEs, she said.
Personnel in the center would address issues or investors' queries on the local industry clusters such as Information and Communications Technology, livestock industry and aquamarine sector. (BSS)
