Monday, November 03, 2008 2,000 delegates attend 1st Phil coop teamshop
SOME 2,000 cooperators attended the recently concluded 1st Philippine Cooperative Teamshop held at Lagao Gymnasium in General Santos City last October 24.
Muntinlupa Representative Rozzano Rufino Biazon keynoted the affair.
Also present were Secretary Lecira V. Juarez of the Cooperative Development Authority and Rosalinda E. Villaseca, Cooperative Development Authority administrator.
Arthur Aller, NCDC chair, said the attendance of National Cooperative Development Council (NCDC) officers from Western Mindanao, Northern Mindanao, Southern Mindanao, Central Mindanao, Caraga and Cordillera Administrative Region made the event successful.
The success of the teamshop was also attributed to Mayor Pedro B. Acharon, Jr., General Santos Rep. Darlene A. Custodio, the City Cooperative Development Council (CCDC), Regional Cooperative Development Council (RCDC) and the NCDC.
Other guests were Councilor Dominador Lagare III, city council chair of the committee on cooperatives; Bebei Gonzalez, Director Abusama Alid of the Department of Agriculture Central Mindanao, Director Orlando Ravanera of CDA-Central Mindanao, and Fulgencio Vigare, CDA Administrator.
