The agreement primarily states that all Dinagyang-related activities should pass through the foundation.

Treņas said the early creation of the different Dinagyang committees is imperative not only to plan the success of the annual festival but also to coordinate the various activities being eyed to make the 2004 festival better than the previous year.

The Dinagyang Festival 2004 honorary committee will have Treņas, Rep. Raul Gonzalez and Iloilo Gov. Neil Tupas Sr. as members, while Councilor Raul Gonzalez Jr. and Executive Assistant Francis Cruz compose the oversight committee.

The executive committee will involve individuals from both the private and public sectors. These are Iloilo Dinagyang Foundation (IDFI) president Lee Chuan, chairman; IDFI vice-president Ben Jimena, executive director; businessman Benedict Uygonco, secretary; Ric Padilos, finance groups; Fr. Agustin Ty, religious group; Roseller Cabdo, program group; Councilor Ramon Cua Loscin, support group; and Francis de la Cruz, marketing groups.

The other members are Councilor Raul Gonzalez Jr., executive assistant Francis Cruz, city tourism officer Heloise Javellana, Manuel Mejorada, Senior Supt. Policarpio Segubre, DTI director Diosdado Cadena, DepEd director Victorino Tirol, DOT director Edwin Trompeta, IHRRA chair Theresa Sarabia, ABC-City Proper president Irene Ong and Association of Tribes in Iloilo president Francis Segovia.

The executive committee will work closely with the IDFI in implementing the various activities for Dinagyang 2004.
