Dancefloor blitzkrieg at SM City Iloilo
SM CITY Iloilo's Activity Center throbbed to the city's top six dance groups last Sunday as this year's biggest dancefloor battle rolled to its final exploding blow.
Thousands of fanatics stormed to the mall to witness the battle among the powerful squads of the Tribal Quest Dancers, Waseda Breakers, Topsy Turvy Dancers, Pretty Bomb Dancers, Apache Rose Dancers and the Deep Angelz Dancers.
The afternoon air teemed with fierce collission from the dance groups who poured all their power to conquer the battlefield. For the male category, Waseda Breakers dropped the first bomb with their nimble street showdown stunts. This was followed by the chameleon styled counter attack of the Tribal Quest Dancers. Never wanting to be outdone, the Topsy Turvy Dancers unleashed their Jacko-inspired defense dance moves to topple the first two groups.
On the all-female arena, the Pretty Bomb Dancers tried to outmaneuver their competitors with their multiracial inspired dance tactics. Trying to win over the rest, the Deep Angelz Dangers employed the subtle tweetums strategy, while the gregarious group of the Apache Rose Dancers made a loud attack with their mardi gas inspired costume and moves.
It took one hundred and twenty minutes for the groups to clash and grit teeth among each other. Soon after, the heavy battle smoke settle only the top two groups that garnered victory. The Tribal Quest Dancers conquered the top prize for the all-male battleground. Meanwhile, the crown for the female field was bagged by the femmes fatales of the Pretty Bomb Dancers.
Dance Explosion 2 is by far the biggest dance competition in the city today. The two winning groups brought home a hefty P10,000 in cash prize each. SM City also gave out two thousand in cash per consolation prize winner.
Dance Explosion 2 is co-presented by ABS-CBN's MORE 91.1, the contest's official radio partner. This is also sponsored by Universal Records, Netopia Internet Cafe and Pizza Hut.
No one else can bring you this baslting event but only the ultimate shopping and entertainment destination - SM City Iloilo. Speaks thanks to Picture City. PR
