12 Ilonggas to vie for Miss Philippines-Earth WV crown
SUNSILK Nutrient Shampoo, Close Up, Creamsilk Conditioner and Ponds with major sponsor, Avon Color are searching for the fairest Filipina for the one of most relevant beauty competitions in the country.
The Search for Miss Philippines 2004 is on. It is open to all Filipinas aged 18 to 25 years, at least 5'4" in height, a High School graduate, Filipino citizen, with good moral character and loves Mother Earth.
A cash award amounting to a quarter of million pesos and other prizes are at stake in this beauty pageant. Miss Philippines earns the right to compete in the globally significant Miss Earth beauty competition in October.
Philaska Bay is now holding the search for the regional finalist to represent Western Visayas in this event.
Twelve lovely ladies in our region have been chosen. They are: Pops Grine Aljibe, Chermaine Andrade Atienza, Cherry Mae Car, Jelly Anne Dema-ala De Justo, Keithel June Ferrer, Shayne D. Java, Anabelle Nedic, Perhaps Paderna, Marie Leez Quimpo, Sheinna Salada, Hargene San Felix and Maricel Vilchez.
On March 4, they will showcase their talent at Robinsons Place Iloilo while on March 6, a swimsuit competition will take place at the Kingfishers Restaurant in Dumangas, Iloilo. The coronation night will be on March 15 at Hotel del Rio.
Philaska Bay Productions Inc., the franchise holder of the Miss Philippines Earth Western Visayas, has Marijoe Conlu Yu as its executive producer, Edelyn Tana Demaisip as over-all production manager, and project coordinator is Jae S. Tuazon. National beauty pageant winner of several titles, Catherine Claire A. Corpuz will be this year's pageant director and Bombette Marin as production director.
